“Lakeside management care for all horses as individuals, Hay, really is  ad-lib, turnout really is year round, feed and horses routine is  flexible to the horse. There’s no stress, which completely transformed  my eventer from a head shy lunatic into a cuddly teddy. It’s amazing to  see how quickly horses settle into the large open stables and relaxed  environment. I keep my horses on full livery and management’s 60 years of combined horsemanship means I can completely trust them to make the right call in an emergency, also knowing that if one is sick they will  sit up with them all night.  Overall, I cannot recommend Lakeside highly enough. To have had 3 very high maintenance horses on full livery for 7 years without ever wanting  to leave just about says it all”    Caroline

“Simon is a different horse since he’s been at Lakeside.  When I first went to look around there were horses flat out asleep in their stables and now he is that relaxed too.  Simon is an ex racer and previous yards have struggled to put weight on him, but under Georgi’s care he was almost the first ex racehorse to have to join the diet club!  The facilities at Lakeside are amazing and there is always someone to ride with.  My jumping has come on enormously since having lessons with Jamie.”   Felicity

“I’ve been at LEC since October 2014 with my 3 polo ponies.  The facilities are second to none and it is set in beautiful surroundings.  My horses are the fittest I’ve known them going into the 2015 summer polo season and that is largely due to the 6 furlong track, horse walker and the 2 arenas for schooling!  Georgi, Jamie and all the staff are very friendly, helpful and understand the individual client requirements. “I have kept my horses at Lakeside EC since December 2014, having moved yards several times within 2014 in my attempts to find a professional well equipped yard. Lakeside EC provides this in bucket loads and I find Georgi, Jamie and their team to be friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. When one of my horses sustained a grave injury in January 2014 nothing was too much trouble, and my horse’s needs were catered to without question at that point and throughout his rehab. The facilities are second to none and I have no qualms about my horses (youngsters) being handled kindly and competently in my absence. Overall I feel Lakeside EC provides a lovely happy environment for both horse and owner which is rare and I personally have struggled to find until now. I would have no hesitation in recommending this yard for any level of horse owner, as from my perspective the knowledge, support and staff are second to none. “I joined Lakeside with 6 horses. All settled really well and have all chilled out a lot. I am currently studying for a masters so I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit studying around riding however, the routine at Lakeside works has really worked well for both myself and my horses. The horses are able to be turned out every morning and I ride in the afternoon if I have the time. There are days when I can’t get to the yard, but the staff at Lakeside are very professional and I can trust them to sort my guys out.
